I’m currently using a MKRGSM board with a hologram SIM successfully, however it seems that the US carriers will probably sunset 2/3G within the next year. Any suggestions on modems that work with the Arduino standard GSM library?

GSM - Arduino Reference says it’s designed for use with the Quectel M10 GSM module. using another module will mean using another library. some AT commands are shared among modules / manufacturers, many are not. SIMCOM makes lots of modules. I went from sim808 to sim7000 to sim7500 and each time had to rework my code a little and the library a lot.
