Anyone successfully connected with a Huawei e352?

Hi all!

Has anyone been able to connect an unlocked Huawei e352 modem to Hologram yet? We have been using the Huawei e367 without any issues and I see there are others using the e303 too.

The funny part is that we can use a local (commercial) SIM on the unlocked modem even using Hologram’s APN, but Hologram’s activated SIM doesn’t seem to work with the exact same config.

Any thoughts, experiences or ideas?

Thanks a lot!

Not a e352 modem but got a e3531 to work with a different modeswitch command found on the net.

sudo usb_modeswitch -v 0x12d1 -p 0x1f01 -V 0x12d1 -P 0x1001 -M “55534243123456780000000000000011062000000100000000000000000000”

thanks @davef

Turns out we could make the modem connect successfully using the hologram python sdk on a fresh raspbian stretch installation. Works like a charm!
