Charge battery with Hydro Generator

Hello fam,
I was thinking to charge the battery with an Hydro Generator Turbine but i’m not sure if is enough and how long takes to charge a battery of 1000mAh. I know that it depends on Water Flow, Head and Pressure. You think thats is viable to charge the battery in a considerable time?

Instead of a battery use a supercapacitor. If you have 10F or more version and a voltage boost converter, you should be good to send periodic messages with that sort of power source.

While supercaps are great for immediate delivery of power, that will really depend on the power output capability of that hydro generator. So without a measure of the actual water flow (and subsequent available power).
