CLOUD_ERR_UNAVAILABLE error from the Dash

what does the CLOUD_ERR_UNAVAILABLE message actually mean in the function HologramCloud.getConnectionStatus()? There doesn’t seem to be any further description other than it “Could not communicate with the modem”.

I have a unit deployed out in the field giving me this error after months of working fine. It’s in a weird state where It can only send messages (not sure about sms) but not receive them, and OTA updating doesn’t work either. Only until you cycle the power, the OTA update works once only.


The CLOUD_ERR_UNAVAILABLE status occurs when there is a loss of communication with the modem. Most often this occurs due to a command timeout. Once everything re-synched the status should report connection state.
