End device certification in the US

Hi hologram community,

I am using SARA U201 modem, planning to import the device in US.
If we are using NMVOs like Hologram, where I believe Hologram has agreements with MNOs like AT&T and Verzion in the US. As OEMs do we still need to get end-device certifications in with AT&T and Verzion?
