Growing out of Maker limits

What happens if we start out with a maker plan, but foresee the possibility that it could turn into something bigger? Do we have to swap out all of the SIMs when we switch to pro, or just flip a switch to the new plan? Have an R&D plan plus a pro plan? This hobby project turned into something we decided to commercialize, and we’d like to send out some prototypes to beta testers, so it might be difficult to physically swap out SIMs if we go that route.
