Hologram SIM Card in a Mobile Hotspot

Hello All,

New to discovering Hologram. I want to preface this in saying that I am completely illiterate when it comes to this type of tech, but here it goes…

I operate a business that occasionally needs internet in various locations (sometimes up to 8-10 locations) throughout an outdoor forested event venue. In the past we’ve used mobile hotspots connected with a carrier like Verizon or ATT. This is costly, and unless using their prepaid plans it locks you into contracts, which doesn’t work for me because there can be many months of the year where I do not need more than one mobile hotspot.

So, is Hologram something that would work for my needs in:
-providing data connection to up to 8-10 devices for a short period of time?
-allow me to pay for only when I need the SIM card activated?

Secondly, what type of devices do Hologram SIM cards work in? Currently I have 2 hotspots that I believe are locked with ATT and two that are locked with Verizon. At least that’s my understanding of these devices. Are devices connected with a wireless provider able to be unlocked? I do own these devices outright, and if a scenario works out for affordable SIM card data plans, I’d be interested in purchasing more devices, but I assume they’d need to be unlocked??

Let me know if anyone has answers or solutions for my needs based on what I described, and if Hologram is a product that will lead me there!

Thank you.
