Hologram USIM is not registering on AT&T network in USA

I have a Quectel BG96 modem (which is LTE Cat M1/LTE Cat NB-IoT/EGPRS) . I inserted the Hologram SIM and it always gives me “registration denied” and I can not register on the AT&T network.

what is the problem? and how this can be fixed?

Please see the output of the AT commands below and here what it suggests the BG96 configurations:
1- GSM/LTE registration is denied and on EGPRS registraiton is unknow.
2- Signal quality is good (+CSQ: 13,99)
3- APN name: m2m.com.attz

Did you set that APN manually? (the m2m.com.attz?). With hologram simcards the APN should be “hologram”

It seems working now after I change configuration to the following below and changed the APN name.

However, it shows roaming on Verizon wireless, is this expected? The dashboard says it should be AT&T Mobility?

Roaming is fine, you will be roaming on pretty much every network through hologram likely due to how the business relationship is between hologram and the carriers.

What makes you think it should be on AT&T in the dashboard? Hologram has relationships with all major US carriers and your device will likely connect to whichever has the best signal in your area.

It might be showing AT&T from a previous session. Within a couple minutes it should update to show the latest session on verizon
