January 8th erroneous marketing email update


Hi everyone!

We had a test marketing email sent out early this morning to some of our developers. We’re diagnosing and will send a response soon. We did not experience a data breach and are working with our marketing email provider.

The following was sent to affected customers:


A couple of hours ago we sent you an email noting your acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Unfortunately for the Harry Potter fans among you, this email was sent to you by mistake while we were testing some new email software.

We want to apologize for any confusion this may have caused. We have already fixed the issue that caused this and are taking steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Your information and account are not at risk.
