SIM7000E used 1.2Mb data on first registration ?

I just got a SIM7000E CAT M1 based module to try as part of my ‘replacement for Dash solution’. I put in a Hologram SIM that was previously working on a 2G SIM800.

It took a while but eventually the SIM7000E did register with a network and work fine. However what I noticed in the Hologram dashboard is that it has consumed 1.2Mb of data - and that is before I have even started using the SIM7000E to send/receive anything.

Is this normal ? Maybe the SIM7000E doing some initial interaction with the network ?
