sim7000e with hologram sim not registering

I have a sim7000e module and a hologram sim.
When I use the botletics library, it won’t connect to the network.
When I manually use the AT commands it’s also clear that it does not connect:

Even after waiting an hour, it’s still not connected.

The SIM does seem normal in the hologram dashboard.

I’ve got a Hologram R410 Nova that I’m experimenting with. Like you I had connection problems. I found the at+cops (Cellular OPerator Selection) command to be the solution.

If you issue at+cops? it will tell you the mode of the modem. A return of 0 is auto, 1 is manual. My Nova was in manual.

at+cops=? causes the modem to scan then list the available networks, this is what is shown in your response. If you are in manual mode you can select a network from the listing (not sure which your hologarm sim may work with in your area).

To connect to vodafone the command is

at+cops=1,2,“20404”

for T-Mobile it is
at+cops=1,2,“20416”

for KPN use 20408

If one of the above commands get you connected the red led will be lit solid.
