Use any (or ATT) SIM card with Nova?

I know it would kill many features, but how would I say get the Nova working with an ATT SIM? Should it work out of the box, or is there some required configuration?

obviously replacing IP?
Edit: Wait just looked at the original thread, would I just change the ‘hologram’ part to ‘att’ or something?

Yeah you just change hologram to whatever the proper APN is for that SIM. Don’t change the IP part. That’s part of the command telling it to use IP vs some other protocol.

As you mentioned you’ll lose some functionality by doing this, but all outbound internet traffic should work.

What would the APN be for AT&T?

You’ll have to double check with them as AT&T may have a few. You can try putting the SIM in a phone and it might tell you which APN it’s using in the network settings.
